New Jersey’s Clean Energy ProgramTM – WARMAdvantage and COOLAdvantage HVAC Programs

KEY PROGRAM CHANGES:

The COOLAdvantage Program provides utility rebates for energy efficient central air conditioners or heat pumps as well as “best practices” on proper sizing and installation that affect operating efficiency.

  • Incentives on Central A/C systems are discontinued for purchases on or after February 24, 2013 except for customers whose homes have been damaged due to Hurricane Sandy who may still qualify for the $500 incentive.
  • For customers impacted by Hurricane Sandy, an enhanced $200 incentive per unit will be offered onqualifying heat pumps and ductless mini-split units in addition to the incentive payments shown on the following page. This enhanced incentive is retroactive for purchases made on or after October 29, 2012.

The WARMAdvantage Program provides utility rebates for high efficiency home heating systems and/or water heaters. To be eligible you must purchase, install and operate a heating system and/or water heater that meets all applicable efficiency requirements.

Hurricane Sandy Relief
New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program has enhanced incentives for residents recovering from Hurricane Sandy. Please use the Rebate Quick Links HERE for full information available on each type of equipment.

Replacing gas heating equipment (e.g., furnaces or boilers) without replacing a water heater that is either direct vented or power-vented is potentially dangerous. Be aware of the risks and make sure your equipment is properly tested. Learn more.

  • utility rebates, weather, choice, air, first choice, nj, clean, energy, nj clean energy, clean energy, Middlesex, Union County, Somerset, Monmouth, Ocean County, Air Conditioning, Air Conditioner, Cooling, Heating, Heat Pump, Furnace, HVAC, Service, Repair, Installation, LennoxThe SEP Program for municipal and co-op electric, propane, and oil customers will mirror the HVAC incentive schedule and will continue through June 30, 2013 or until funds are exhausted. Hurricane Sandy enhanced incentives apply to these customers as well.
